Am college educated (Psyc major, world religions/philosophy minor) have seen some of the stuff most people only read about or see in movies and did so at a very young age. I do music, which I had the opportunity to take to the next level in my early 20s, but did what so many others cannot do and put it on hold for the sake of my son and being a major part of his childhood. He is now 17 and graduating this year with both a diploma as well as his associates and has several schools offering full scholarships for academics.

I tend to be quite easy to laugh, even when dealing with things that are not easy to laugh at for most. It is a coping mechanism that is fortunately not a bad thing. I enjoy the arts and music of all types (yes all of them have their places but I am picky when it comes to performers of certain genres as some do not put themselves and heart into their craft which can be heard/felt). I enjoy several different types of books, film, television and other mediums of artistic expression as well. Science fascinates me, as does history. I am open to new things and differing views and ideas.

Politically I am not really sure what to say, because I find the whole corrupted mess to be nothing more than a disgusting freak show that serves no purpose besides keeping the people divided while real change and representation never are going to come from voting on professional liars that have no care or idea what those they are elected to represent go through. Not one of them is a single mother who has had to work two jobs to support their family, nor a union member who has worked 20 years just to pay off a mortgage etc. I vote for the candidates that look to be the least harmful to the public, but know for real change we the people are going to have to do something much more drastic than voting in a dark horse, which people are too scared and complacent to do so they say there is no other option, although there are plenty that would put too much of the general publics creature comforts at risk.

I work as well as am training for certifications that will open doors to more lucrative jobs and flexibly so I can work anywhere in the country with a competitive rate of pay. I believe we should always work towards bettering ourselves and our abilities so we can be the best of ourselves we can be. In an aspects of life and having a positive outlook on things that happen as best as possible, even when they are difficult because there are reasons for everything and what may be difficult to deal with today may lead to something much greater tomorrow.
