What I'm sick of...

Fuckin' DRAMA that's what I'm sick of... To all of the faceless who choose to send messages here, myspace or swdym saying that someone I've known for about 3 years is calling me a bitch behind my back, saying shit like I don't deserve my husband and so on, FUCK OFF!!! If it's true then I'm sure the person won't admit it, but sure I'll ask just like the faceless tell me to do... Just for the RECORD though, I've spent time on the phone COUNTLESS times with this person EVERY time she's needed a shoulder to cry on guess it was all just a joke... As for the "1" ratings that are being given to my kids, whatever... Guess since they're so fuckin' ugly as I've been so rudely told I'll take their pics down... BUNCH OF FACELESS LOSERS!! Not once would I consider giving ANYONE'S kid a "1", UGH!! Yep it pisses me off, give my pics the "1" if you must but not my kids... Ohhhh wait, what you don't realize is that you'd hurt my ratings more if you didn't RATE AT ALL... Even a "1" gives me more points so bring them the hell on! At one point I thought this place was full of "decent" (sometimes crazy but in a fun way) people, HA guess I'm learning differently!!!!

I hate DENTISTS!!

UGH, don't ya just love goin' to the Dentist?? Not me, spent the first part of my day at one... By the end of October I'll hate them even more :( Have two more appointments this month and even with insurance it's gonna run right at $500.00, fun fun. Just laying here right now in pain, not sharp but a throbbing pain hopefully the meds will kick in soon... Speaking of meds that's another place I hate "the pharmacy"... If I hadn't of gotten Drew to go with me I would have been sitting for most likely one and a half to two hours, they were PACKED... But since Drew went they let us go into the active duty line... Not to much else goin' on around here. Drew's change of Command and promotion are on 01 NOV. After all of that I have to get over to one of the hangers here on Hood for a USO event, stuffing care packages for troops deployling from Hood. Jack Daniels is putting the event on and after it's over they're giving us a BBQ and concert with Craig Morgan. That will be ONE busy day... That's it, you can move on now, I believe I'm quite finished boring ya'll for a little while :o) PS: Anyone wanna come help pack up the breakables that I don't want the Army moving??
NOTHING angers me more than this CRAP!!! $20mil? C'mon if you're gonna use it to PARTY then in my book you're a piece of junk! Why NOT GIVE this money to the families of the military members who have given their lives for this country or to the military memebers who have made it home safely, to the disabled vetran, tell them "thank you" that way instead of recognizing them with a $20mil party!! It's no wonder military funds are lacking, some housing is not up to standards and the men and women who protect us make so little for what they do!!! UGH!! Congress Allots $20M for Victory Parties Associated Press | October 04, 2006 WASHINGTON - The military's top generals have warned Iraq is on the cusp of a civil war and that U.S. troops must remain in large numbers until at least next spring. But if the winds suddenly blow a different direction, Congress is ready to celebrate with a $20 million victory party. Lawmakers included language in this year's defense spending bill, approved last week, allowing them to spend the money. The funds for "commemoration of success" in Iraq and Afghanistan were originally tucked into last year's defense measure, but went unspent amid an uptick in violence in both countries that forced the Pentagon to extend tours of duty for thousands of troops. Republicans have yet to claim responsibility for the provision. Democrats say it was likely added by the Senate's majority Republicans, and less than five weeks from congressional elections are pointing to it as another example of where the GOP has gone astray handling the war in Iraq. "If the Bush administration is planning victory celebrations, Americans deserve to know what their plan is to get us to a victory in Iraq," said Rebecca Kirszner, spokeswoman for Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. Carolyn Weyforth, spokeswoman for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., said, "Republicans are confident we will be victorious in the ongoing war in terror, and we look forward to a time when those funds can be used to honor the men and women who have risked and given their lives." Under the language, the president could "designate a day of celebration" to honor troops serving in the two wars. The president also could call on the nation "to observe that day with appropriate ceremonies and activities" and issue awards to troops who have served honorably. The Pentagon could spend up to $20 million of its $532 billion budget in 2007 for the commemoration, minus any private contributions it might receive for such an event. The money will be available for the 2007 budget year, which began Oct. 1. Some 140,000 U.S. troops remain in Iraq, with a drawdown not expected until at least early next year. About 20,000 more are in Afghanistan. Last year, Bush administration and Pentagon officials had hoped thousands of troops could be brought home before the Nov. 7 elections. Proclaiming victory in the Iraq war has already proven to be tricky business. President Bush was slammed by critics for delivering his "Mission Accomplished" speech in May 2003 aboard an aircraft carrier. While troops had successfully stormed Iraq and toppled Saddam Hussein's regime in Baghdad, the fight over control in the nation against a violent insurgency had just begun. Vice President Dick Cheney also was ridiculed for suggesting last year that the insurgency was in its "final throes."

Exhausted...

Had to wake up at 4 this morning... We had to be on Fort Hood by 6 to get ready for the short bus ride to the field... Once at the field I was a little in awwe at the Secruity check points and seeing, for the first time in my life, Secret Service members. We were standing in front of the stage waiting and waiting when finally at about 8:15 the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders ran out to many cat whistles, hoots and hollers :o) Hey I was standing among LITERALLY "HUNDREDS UPON HUNDREDS" of American Soldiers, who wouldn't expect all of the noise?? It's alright though cause there I stood poking my husband saying "take pics, lots of pics of the girls for Eric" (my 8 yr old son)... HAHA, of course he DIDN'T complain!! The cheerleaders were onstage for about 45 minutes. By the time they were finished I had been standing on my feet in the heat for about 3 hours surrounded by a bunch of sweaty men :o) Do you think I complained, lol, nooooooooo of course not :o)... Anyway it wasn't until an hour after they had finised that VP Dick Cheney FINALLY arrived and began to speak... I may not always agree with people in politics but I do have to say I'm glad I went today and I'm glad I had the chance to shake the Vice Presidents hand... Most don't get that chance... It's almost 1, I'm home again and EXHAUSTED! I think I'm gonna take a LONG LONG LONG nap... PS: There are a few pics in my folder labele Fort Hood, Texas... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

*sigh*

Yesterday was a little hectic... I actually had "pics" taken for Drew... There's another Army wife here at Hood that is building up her portfolio and I became a small part of it I suppose... Needless to say he LOVED the pics, I posted 11 out of over 60 in my photo folder labled NEW ME ME ME 9/29/06... Be nice if you visit, these are a new kind of pic for me... I was super uncomfortable at first but after a few minutes hey it was easy! Looks like it's going to be another boring weekend around here and that's just fine with me. I hate feeling rushed and it's pretty much like that all week so a slow, laid back weekend is always what I want :o) We do have to go up to the Commisary today and pick up some things for dinner tonight. Drew's parents are coming over,ha that also means that I need to clean clean clean... Anyone wanna come help?? Ahhhhh on another note tomorrow is 1 OCT which means the MP Ball is next Thursday, it's the kids last month of football/cheerleading, Haley is having a party with friends, Halloween is coming, we have to start packing what we're NOT allowing the movers to take, Drew's birthday is at the end of the month and so is his change of command... BUSY BUSY MONTH!! Going to have to keep my weekends BORING just so that I don't go insane, oh WAIT, I'm already insane! Ok, that's it I'm finished boring ya'll... Carry on with what you were doing BEFORE you decided to venture in here :o) Hugs ~n~ Kisses
