I wasn't home to watch qualifying for Sundays 2nd points race but when I got home I checked the results (listed below) My reactions were as follows ....
Jeff Gordon > pole.."fuck you Gordon"...
Mark Martin qualifies 3rd > .. ""man he's doin good in that new Chevy !" ....
Dale Jr.. starts 5th >> " holy shit, WHOOYAA, Gordon won't be in first for long !!""
Readin down the list ... blah, blah ,blah... Did not qualify MICHAEL WALTRIP ..>> WTF
First I thought GREAT !! karma finally got him for Daytona. This is where I started getting a lil pissed.. I watched the inspections for Daytona and I saw the interview with Waltrip as the beginning steps of getting caught started to unfold and I watched him lie right thru his big fat lips.. After getting busted for the illegal fuel alot of people and drivers were upset that he wasn't ejected from the race (me being one of them) How was this fair to the other drivers and teams.. You cannot say 'oh he's just a driver he didn't know what was going on'... not true.. hes is the team owner as well as a driver !!
Then he proceeds to spin out former teammate Dale Jr. in the Bush race. Then while being one of the hosts on a program on Speed channel he proceeds to defend his driving at every turn and bashes Jr.
What has gotten into him that he's become such an asshole ?? And I truley question how he can run so well in the Bush race and the cup race at Daytona and then not make the field the following week... Did he stop useing some other things that wasn't caught last week and had to run a normal car .. ??
I really think that NASCAR should fine themselfs for bad judgement at Daytona to let him race and they should also question his every movement.. even if it's in the ladies room where he relieves himself.. !!
With that said all thats left to say is GO JUNIOR !!
