Virginia Tech Shooting
I turned on the news at dinner time today and learned about the shootings at Virginia Tech University. You should know that I have very strong feelings regarding gun control but this is certainly not the time to discuss that issue. Now is the time to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people who have lost loved ones and lend our support in anyway we can. My heartfelt sorrow and condolences to everyone caught up in this most tragic of circumstances. If anyone would like to add their feelings to this blog then please do so. it was a long night last night , i work for angle rescue. We had a call come over the wire last night around 2 am, so we suited up and flew to very dark area to pick up two children, ages 5 and 8 both females. there mother was killed on impact. it took 2 hrs to cut the girls out of the car , when i started to work on the first of the two girl , there was no pulse and started cpr, for about min with no response blood keep pouring from her head and she had lost eye , after 1 hr. she was dead. Okay, since Friday I have put in applications for at least 10 different companies. Thankfully most have a way to do so on-line! I have a long way to go still I know. Woke up this morning to crash, boom, bang. Wind gusts up to 60mph. Health bitch spent the night, so she and I have worked this morning running up and down the beach picking up debris - some of ours, and some, well lets just say - salvage. Histoplasmosis - what it is....The doctors took him off IV fluids yesterday, to see if his body could sustain itself. Aside from producing too much sugar it did well. He's also now gone two days without any fevers, a miracle after two months of fevers. They're going to have to give him a new medication to reduce his water retention, as he's bloating pretty well; but otherwise the doctors are encouraged.

I wonder why when you care about people you hurt them whether you know it or not. I find my self pushing friends away when they are the main people in your life and the ones you depend on the most. Ironically enough what few men are interested in me in real life now are no where near the type of man I want in my life. I again wonder if I shall ever be happy. I was asked this weekend if I am ever happy and to my surprise I replied with "Yes, I was happy about a year ago when I was with my ex before everything went to hell. I seen my beautiful little girl everyday, had a man whom I loved and thought loved me, a house to go home to, a bike shop to call "ours", and my money issues were not really issues." Way better today, actually enjoyed it. I was seriously dis-heartened after last week. Wasn't blinding sunlight today, and I tried to relax more. Battled the roundabouts and took them on, rather than worry about them. Got away smooth and fast at every one, no faffing around, lane changes down pat too. Lights, Camera, Action!!!
I was talking to someone last week or so about the camera used to take my pics. Specifically the one my photographer used. They were able to tell te camera he used just by some sort of encoding on the pic... Was that you? I am trying to figure out how they were able to do it, so I can do it when I see pics that are really sharp I can check the embedding or whatever and see what kind of cam took it... I figure this way if I am always seeing pictures that are really nice taken by the same brand or same model, that is the cam I would buy. But the point was the conversation went like. I Hate Needles....
I really hate needles especially ones that are used for medical purposes. I can handle getting a tattoo, but what I can't is getting a spinal tap. That big needle coming at me just makes me cring. The thought of being paralysed or having them screw it up is frightning enough. I have to have several because of my MS. They check regularly the protein levels in my body. Yeah for me. I don't have any family or friend's to talk to about all of this except my hubby. If it wasn't 4 him I would have to give my injections myself. It was a huge deal being diagnosed mid way through my second pregnancy. I am the only person in my family with it. Multiple Sclerosis I always though that it was something u were born with. I never realized that u could have an adult onset & it come out later in life.

New Job
Well this is it; today i start the new job. It's been so long since ive been like this, nervous and unsure of myself. It feels like the first day of school as a kid; and not in a good way! I don't know anybody, will I make friends? Do you think they dress like they did at my old school? Will the work be harder than my old school? Will they think I'm dumb? Random Thoughts.
Today has not really been a good day. Weekend was good but today has seen me thinking over a few things. Why oh why can some say im sweet, caring, heart of gold, trustworthy, honest, lovable when no one seems to want or need me. Tattoo Misfortune!
I had my tribal tattoo done in Madison at a location that I will not name. I'm not at all happy with it. For starters, he used a 14 guage...hmmm. He told me that it would look awesome when it was done. Well when he was done, it looked AWFUL. He tells me, when it heals it will look right. Charges me for it, but then tells me that if I want to make a personal deal with him, he would take half of what he quoted me. Offended? Ya, you betcha.
