LpnjAlmost an old man. Retired from US Army 04-01-1986. Retired from nursing 01-01-2005 due to surgical procedures. I'm appx 5'10" tall (shrunk to compact size) upon retirement from military and post op. Gray hair, blue eyes, all of my own teeth and walk with a cane thanks to post op complications. Served 18 months in RVN, 6 months as a combat medic,6 months asa a REMF. Extended in country and spent 6 months in the Emergency Room (medic) of the 12th Evac. Hosp in Chu Chi, RVN. NO special decorations or acknowledgements other than a sense of full fillment as someone to care for those that could not care for themselves. Came home and went to nursing at another base and so on till retirement. Sounds boring but there were up times as with any job. Hang tough everyone,this election could be a real FUBAR!!
